The happily married couple teamed up with twitter this Valentine’s Day to answer some relationship questions. Check out their take on finding love, getting through hard times and more. Good read.

We wouldn’t change a thing. There’s no secret to our marriage, we just did what was needed for each other & our family.

Zelmyra: Mine was just around the corner! He is never too far away, so keep the faith - when you meet him, you’ll know.

“Everyone who plants a seed & harvests the crop celebrates together” We are individuals, but accomplish more together.
9. What is your fondest memory of your 85-year marriage?
Our legacy: 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Herbert: We were apart for 2 months when Z was hospitalized with our 5th child. It was the most difficult time of my life. Zelmyra’s mother helped me with the house and the other children, otherwise I would have lost my mind.
12. At the end of bad relationship day, what is the most important thing to remind yourselves?
Remember marriage is not a contest – never keep a score. God has put the two of you together on the same team to win
13. Is fighting important?

I am the Number ONE.

Many years ago, i was asked this question: Is my insurance company the number One company in the world? I said NO! But you are dealing with a number One insurance life insurance agent, ME!

To give encouragement to all my fellow colleagues in our industry, i would say..Whether you are representing the largest or the smallest company, the most important factor is yourself. Are you the number ONE in your own way. If you are confidence with yourself, giving the best to the business and be 100% committed to the career, you are already the number One agent to all your clients. What is the point of being representing the so called Number One company when you are not totally dedicated to your profession. Believe me, people buy our products because of the person and not the company. A company is just the name, whereas an agent has live and feeling.

Let me introduce you to Ben Feldman (1912 – November 7, 1993) was an American businessman and one of the most prolific salespeople in world history.

He sold $1,800,000,000 of Insurance Policies for New York Life Insurance from 1942 to his death in 1993. He once held the world record for the most products sold (by value) by a salesman in a career, a year ($100,000,000), and in a single day ($20,000,000). Near the end of his career, his annual commission totals were over $1,000,000 per year. At the time, these sales totals were equaled only by the entire sales forces of other insurance companies, though they have been long been nominally surpassed.

Born in New York City in 1912 as one of nine children to recent immigrants Isaac and Bertha Dardick Feldman, he began in sales when the family moved to Salineville, Ohio to open a wholesale poultry business.

Feldman spent most of his adult life living in East Liverpool, Ohio, which is where he began his remarkable career in life insurance sales. Despite a somewhat eccentric personality, Mr. Feldman had a gift in talking with people and helping them to understand the value of life insurance. When asked how he could sell such an intangible product as life insurance, Ben responded "I do not sell life insurance. I sell money. I sell dollars for pennies apiece. My dollars cost 3 cents per dollar per year."

Ben Feldman is additionally known for his mentoring of those new to the life insurance sales industry. He would often dispense advice to new agents by inscribing "dream big dreams" with a signature on the backs of $1 dollar bills. Mr. Feldman considered Mark E. Ross to be his most talented student and his heir-apparent in the life insurance industry.

Ben Feldman is considered the legend of our industry and yet he represented a company which is small and unknown to most people. Whether his company is the number One, for sure Ben was the number One agent. Are you?

I turned mistake into good laugh.

Have you ever sent text messages to wrong friends? Sometimes it happened to me. The other day while trying to make a lady happy, i sent her a birthday greeting to another friend with a similar name.

The message was written as... "Specially to this lady...If woman didn't exist, all the money in the world would have no meaning... Paul, today is your darling wife's birthday. She is a lovable mother & an intelligent wife. Please tell her that. Happy Birthday and have plenty of fun together. Rfoo."

Paul is the husband and Paul is a common name. I accidentally keyed and pressed the wrong number of another Paul without even realising my silly mistake. Not long later, my phone sounded. Paul wrote, "Hello young man. You got it wrong again. May be i will meet a lady who was born today. Thank."

Oooop! I was caught! It was nice of him to inform my error and reading his statement, i could feel this Paul is a cheeky and a naughty fellow. Without delaying i had to respond to him immediately too. I took the courage to send another message to this understanding friend. I wrote, "For every mistake happen, there ought to have a reason. Please be prepared to receive this unexpected woman to come into your life. Be it good or bad, sorry you have to decide yourself. Magic will appear to those blessed one like you. Coz you are a wonderful man, Paul."

To play along such happening, you need creativeness and braveness. Oh! I think ... i have plenty of them. I turned my mistake into a good laugh at the end of the day with Paul and his wife.

I have the same thought - "Remember, the greatest gift is not found in a store or under a tree, but in the hearts of true friends" ~ Cindy Lew

An Amazing Sore Throat Remedy.

These could be very informative to everyone...

This simple home remedy has worked 100% of the time for anyone that has tried it. Instead of suffering with a sore throat for a week or more, you can drive it away immediately, sometimes in less than a day. However, this remedy is not medical advice; it is a shared experience that really works! This site is not for profit; it's aim is simply to help people cure their sore throats.

The most common sore throat remedies for sore throat are usually over-the-counter sprays, lozenges and pastilles that are ineffective and smelly. The most common doctor-prescribed remedies are antibiotics, which take time to obtain, cost money and can have many negative side effects.

Most often, people waste time waiting while trying to figure out whether or not they really have a sore throat. By the time they realize they do have a sore throat, it's usually to the point that they are already suffering from serious sore throat pain, can barely speak, swallow or even eat.
This remedy is salt, and not just about gargling saltwater, it is actually about using common table salt as it is.

What you have to do is: tilt your head backwards and shake a little bit of salt straight into the back of your throat. Make sure you shake it straight into your throat, onto the base of your tongue and not over the middle or the tip your tongue (this way you will not suffer from any unpleasant taste). After that, do not swallow your saliva, just let the salt dissolve right there on the back of your throat, letting the salt stay there for as long as you possibly can. If you're using a salt shaker, shake 2 to 6 times depending how bad your sore throat is. If you're using a fast food style paper saltshaker, you should shake about 1/4 of the packet directly into your throat. Also highly suggested, is to shake an even larger amount of salt into your throat right before you go to sleep for the night. During your sleep, without food or drink, bacteria thrive without any interruption to incubation and growth. Therefore, using salt while you are asleep can be extremely effective. Keep a salt shaker near your bed. If you wake up in the middle of the night feeling sore, you can shake some more salt into your throat.

Salt is a very old remedy that kills bacteria. In the old days they traditionally used salt to preserve meat and fish. Why? Because salt attracts water and attacks the bacteria cell walls, causing the bacteria to dehydrate and self-destruct in the process.

If your sore throat is really severe you can use salt as often as every 30 minutes. Use it as soon as you feel the first symptoms of a sore throat and the earlier you use it, the faster you’ll get rid of that sore throat.

Salt is available nearly everywhere. You can stop in to any fast food place on any street and grab some. Don’t wait around trying to figure out whether or not your sore throat is serious. Instead you can use this quick sore throat cure. As soon as you feel the first signs of a sore throat, use the salt immediately. Gargling salt water is not nearly as effective since the concentration of salt is not high enough to take care of the problem. Also, gargling water requires a cup of water and the time to dissolve the salt in it, yet more inconvenience that makes you wait for relief.

Not all sore throats are the result of a bacteria infection. Sometimes the cause is a virus, commonly known as influenza virus. Many times your sore throat starts as a viral infection which develops into a bacterial infection. Salt is intended to fight only the bacteria, not the virus. Therefore salt might not be totally effective if you are suffering from a viral throat infection. Nevertheless, you really have nothing to lose by using salt. According to experience, salt can be extremely effective in most all cases, depending on the cause of your sore throat.

A sore throat is also often the first stage of a common cold, also known as the Flu. First to arrive is the sore throat, followed by nasal congestion and coughing. If you can take care of it fast, you won't wear down your immune system fighting the sore throat and your immune system has more energy to fight the other cold symptoms. Therefore, using salt could also shorten the total duration of suffering from the common cold.

Everybody suffers from a sore throat every year. If you find this advice to be useful - feel free to share it with your friends - and send them a link to this site.

What is your Peace of Mind??

Let not your hearts be troubled ! Is not April Fool here.... read on please....

PEACE OF MIND

If you were to ask your neighbor,
"What would give you peace of mind?" he might tell you,
"A vacation in Bermuda!" or
"An extra hundred grand would give me peace!", or
"A new Ferrari would make me content!"
But going to places - and getting stuff - is usually a temporary solution ...
Peace of mind rarely comes from getting more stuff.
Getting more stuff usually leads to wanting even more stuff!
Peace of mind starts with being grateful for what we have right now.

GRATITUDE is POWER

When we are thankful for what we have - for the friends we have, and for the things we've got,
we attract more good people and good things!
People who always complain about what they DON'T HAVE, stay stuck.
Complainers attract more things to complain about!
It is a law of life. It's hard to explain, but you can observe it around you.
We get more of what we dwell upon.
That's why all the spiritual masters have taught the same lesson:
"Start by being thankful. Be happy with what you have now, and more will come your way."
It's a practical advice:
Every time you say a silent "thank you" you become more peaceful
