A nagging woman is a scary one!
One of my old aunt was sorrowful because her two sons had forgotten her birthday. Non of them celebrated her birthday and she had to eat alone in her house. The sons were her sons until they got marry to their wives. The young wives are sweeter while the mother knows only how to nag when the sons are around in the house. Nagging of the mother scared the children away.
Another auntie of mine, slightly younger was also equally sad because her husband seldom comes home to have dinner with her. She spend most of the time alone, while the husband is attracted to another younger girl friend outside. Asking the husband why he is neglecting the wife. Everyone knows, the woman nags more than she talks. A nagging wife is a disturbed woman, who irritates the husband.
Both the ladies are my relatives and I find it difficult to advise them. The mother lost the sons because she nags too much, and the wife lost the interest of her husband because she too nags equally as much. No man likes to be nagged! I wonder how to change woman's behaviour. Any suggestion?

One man One woman marriage.
Nasir is one friend who doesn't believe in marrying more than one wife. His religion allows man to marry four wives but the man has to be fair to all his women. According to Nasir, a man could treat all his wives fairly in financial, time, love and concern but he cannot be fair with his stomach for them.
I was a bit puzzle with this remark. What does the stomach has to do with fairness?
Nasir's explanation was... If the man has taken his meal in his first wife's house and the second wife also insists him to come for the evening dinner. The second wife has spent time and effort to prepare her most delicious food for the husband. Upon reaching his second home, is he going to tell his second wife that he has already taken his meal with his first wife or is he going to lie that he isn't feeling well. He definitely cannot be fair to his stomach. Right?
Nasir chose to remain faithful with one wife and make the best out of it, though at time he might be looking at other attractive ladies around. His slogan is "Can see but don't touch!"
The famous quote - Marriage is a three ring circus:
engagement ring, wedding ring, and suffering. (Anonymous)

African's great philosophy about interconnectedness
Something worth reading....
LESSON No.1 for Children and Adults too:
Nobody will be happy unless everybody is happy
This is found in the Prathamo Upanishad which explains the origin of Karma and Dharma: Nobody will be happy unless everybody is happy.
"An anthropologist studying the habits and customs of an African tribe found himself surrounded by children most days. So he decided to play a little game with them. He managed to get candy from the nearest town and put it all in a decorated basket. at the foot of a tree.
Then he called the children and suggested they play the game. When the anthropologist said "now", the children had to run to the tree and the first one to get there could have all the candy to him/herself.
So the children all lined up waiting for the signal. When the anthropologist said "now", all of the children took each other by the hand ran together towards the tree. They all arrived at the same time divided up the candy, sat down and began to happily munch away.
The anthropologist went over to them and asked why they had all run together when any one of them could have had the candy all to themselves.
The children responded: "Ubuntu. How could any one of us be happy if all the others were sad?"
Ubuntu is a philosophy of African tribes that can be summed up as "I am what I am because of who we all are."
Bishop Desmond Tutu gave this explanation in 2008 :
"One of the sayings in our country is Ubuntu – the essence of being human.Ubuntu speaks particularly about the fact that you can't exist as a human being in isolation. It speaks about our interconnectedness. You can't be human all by yourself, and when you have this quality – Ubuntu – you are known for your generosity. We think of ourselves far too frequently as just individuals, separated from one another, whereas you are connected and what you do affects the whole World. When you do well, it spreads out; it is for the whole of humanity."

How to win an argument?
Sweet young thing asked, "Would you agree don't argue with 'Stupid' people for they will bring you to their level and they will bite you by their experience?"
RF; "Play dumb and you will win!"
I learned it from Dale Carnegie when I was still schooling. He wrote; The best way to avoid an argument is to keep quiet. Coz the more you talk, the more you become furious. So let the other person speak his mind and gradually he would get tired. Finally the winner is the one who play dumb.
Remember - "The only way to get the best of an argument is to avoid it" - Quoted by Dale Carnegie

The Triumph Rider!
A Triumph rider walked into a drug store in Waco, Texas and asked to talk to a male pharmacist.
The woman he was talking to said that she was the only pharmacist and as she and her sister owned the store, there were no males employed there.
She then asked if she could help him. The biker said that it was something that he would be much more comfortable discussing with a male pharmacist.
The female pharmacist assured him that she was completely professional, and whatever it was that he needed to discuss, he could be confident that she would treat him with the highest level of professionalism.
The biker then agreed and began by saying ........
'This is tough for me to discuss, but I have a ..... Permanent Erection. It causes me a lot of problems, and severe embarrassment, and I was wondering what you could give me for it.'
The pharmacist said ....... 'Just a minute, I'll talk to my sister.'
When she returned, she said ...... We discussed it at length, and the absolute best we can do is as follows:
1/3 ownership in the store .......
A company pickup truck ........
Five home cooked dinners a week .........
And $3,000 a month in living expenses.

JEWISH NEWLYWEDS
Please excuse the four-letter words toward the end of the following story...I would have deleted them, but the story wouldn't be the same.
JEWISH NEWLYWEDS
A young Jewish couple got married and went on their honeymoon. When they got back, the bride immediately called her mother.
"Well", said her mother, "so how was the honeymoon?"
"Oh mama", she replied, "The honeymoon was wonderful! So romantic"... Suddenly she burst out crying.
"But, mama, as soon as we returned, Sam started using the most horrible language – things I'd never heard before!
I mean, all these awful four-letter words!
You've got to take me home!!
PLEASE MAMA!”
"Sarah, Sarah", her mother said, "Calm down!
You need to stay with your husband and work this out. Now, tell me, what could be so awful?
WHAT four-letter words?"
"Please don't make me tell you, mama," wept the daughter. "I'm so embarrassed, they're just too awful!
COME GET ME, PLEASE!!"
"Darling, baby, you must tell me what has you so upset. Tell your mother these horrible four-letter words!"
Sobbing, the bride said,"Oh, Mama...he used words like: "DUST, WASH, IRON, and COOK...
"I'll pick you up in twenty minutes," said her mother.

Honest & sincere compliment.....
This happened over in my club..
Male member; "Hi handsome, you look great".
RF; "You make my day by addressing this name to me. I haven't received such compliment for a long time!"
Member; "You mean nobody call you by Mr Handsome?"
RF; "Yes! Male friends seldom call me as handsome, BUT most ladies and women love to call me handsome or even young man".
Male Member was caught with that statement. He didn't know how to response. Perhaps he was slow to think.
RF; "Do you know the different between ladies calling a man handsome over a man calling another man as handsome?"
Member was slow again to react, "Really? I don't see any different!!"
RF; "Let me explain the different".......
When a woman addresses you as Handsome, she might have two different intentions. Either she has the sincerity to see you as truly a handsome man to her or she doesn't see you at all as a handsome person but yet called you as handsome. The upper is a genuine compliment, whereas the latter is for the sake of gaining some favour from the man. A not so clever man might be taken for a ride and feel happy over such sweet recognition from the lady's giver. A naughty and playful guy like me, I would certainly be able to see the different. See her eyes and listen to her voice, and with some experiences, the truth would be revealed. On the other hand, man seldom behaves like woman. When a man addresses another man as handsome, you rest assure that is the real compliment for his friend.
RF; "You really make my day friend".
Food for thought - "Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a
listening ear, an honest
compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to
turn a life around" -
Leo Buscaglia quotes
