Malaysia's oldest man, dies aged 117.

Want to know the formula to longevity! Read on please...

BESUT: Abdul Rahman Abu Bakar (pic) or Pak Man, believed to be Malaysia's oldest man, has died at an age of 117.
He died at Kampung Denger, Bukit Puteri on Sunday.
His wife, Saadiah Hamat, 71, and one of his sons, Mohamad Deraman, 56, were by his bedside when he passed away at 5.30pm.
During his lifetime, Abdul Rahman married eight times and had two sons and three daughters, 25 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Abdul Rahman, who was believed to be born in 1895 - although his date of birth was registered on July 20, 1907 in his identity card - was awarded the Terengganu senior citizen icon by the state Health Department a few years ago. An ex-carpenter, Pak Man once attributed his longevity to avoiding sweet, salty and milky food, cold drinks, and smoking, and eating local vegetable.
Abdul Rahman never suffered diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke and any heart ailment.
He read the Quran without the aid of glasses, moved about without the aid of a walking stick and performed prayers without any help.
Pak Man was buried at the Kampung Denger Muslim Cemetery after the Zohor prayers Monday. - Bernama.

I learned something from here. Immaterial of what age a man is, he needs to have a woman as companion, partner, lover or a wife. Otherwise it's so difficult to live alone, especially for us.. Man.

The longest person's name.....

Recently I signed up a case and my client's name is Sreenivasan  s/o Vinayagamoorthi. To me this was the first time I got a name this long with 28 alphabets to fill on my proposal form. It was too lengthy and the spacing wasn't enough. Jokingly I asked him whether it was difficult for him to remember his name when he first went to school. Yes was his answer and it took him a long time to memorise these 28 alphabets spelling,

Out of curiosity, I wanted to know what is the longest person's name on earth.

Answer:

Person's Name
The longest name to date is Adolph Blaine Charles David Earl Frederick Jack Gerald Hubert Irvin John Kenneth Lloyd Martin Nero Oliver Paul Quincy Randolph Sherman Thomas Uncas Victor William Xerxes Yancy Zeus Wolfeschlegelsteinhausenbergerdorft Senior

The longest one-word name is of a young Hawaiian boy named Kananinoheaokuuhomeopuukaimanaalohilo. The name means "The Beautiful Aroma of My Home at Sparkling Diamond Hill is Carried to the Eyes of Heaven". In Hawaii, it is the custom to give children long, descriptive names. Don't worry though, they call him Joe, of all things, for short.

So my friend's name isn't that long after all. Or alternatively he could be called in short as Vasan. For me my parents gave me a very short name. In school I spelled my name as Foo Ten Wah and later when I started to  socialize I gave myself a nick name as Robert. Later I was told the name as Robert is a very playful name. Whether is true or not! I have to leave it do my readers to judge.

John F Kennedy said "Forgive your enemies, but never forget their names."  So! Names are always important in life.

Can your Soul be stolen?

I was looking forward to Brandon's school term holiday for two months recently. He is my eldest grand son studying in Singapore. He promised to stay with us for one week in my house for a short holiday. Believe me, out of the one week when he was with me, I hardly got the time to talk to him. He got up at 11am. Immediately after his late breakfast, he would be playing his latest computer games, very high tech, and could go on line with his others friends in Singapore. The whole day, he would be on it or surf his laptop until late into the night. He is really addicted to the IT world and I could not say a word to stop him from it. And now he had gone back home to Singapore. Yes! He was with us physically but his soul was not.

I related this story to a friend who is in his mid forties. He stared at me and said, you were lucky because he is only your grand son. Ever since my wife bought an ipad home, she has almost forgotten me. She is chasing all those Korean Movies through this little gadget. At breakfast she clicked on to it, inside the toilet she clicked again and later of the evening while we were having our dinner, she clicked to it so more. It seems the shows won't end, every chapter is getting more exciting and she couldn't resist not to continue. The worst part is, she has forgotten to even make love with me cause the ipad is even more important than anyone in her life now. Physically she is at home but the soul isn't.

Big problem isn't it???

How to feel rich???

Maram is my client, friend, teacher and also my Guru. This morning he sent through my email with this wonderful words, which I like to share.....
Maram, you are so right. I don't have the millions in my account and yet I could feel so rich in my heart.

Because... I have not been working for the past 30 years, and yet my hobby could be able to sustain my finance. My hobby is selling life insurance.

Because.. I have many clients and today they are all my good friends.

Because.. Talking is my next hobby. I have endless friends who love listening to my stories.

Because... True friend is one who talks good behind you. I have many who even pray for me. I call this as respect.

Because.. Already 65 of age and yet still wanted by clients, friends, dears, honeys, darlings and one sweetheart.

Because... Having a much older mine but a heart felt age of 34 today. Clear mind and a healthy physical.

Because.. I have three well behaved sons and five little brothers as grand children. They are all my friends too. We can talk anything under the sun.

Because... Qualifying The Million Dollars Round Table for 29 years is so fun and interesting to me. Even today I still enjoy achieving it.

Because... Being invited as unpaid speaker to share my experiences in life.

Because... The creditability to solve other's problems with no intention of any monetary gains.

Because... Ever ready to listen and to understand others.

Because... I do have a soft heart to give more willingly than to receive.

Because... I have a non commercial blog to write as much as possible. To share my experiences to the younger generation.

Because..  My belief, "The mind grows by taking in, but the heart grows by giving out." I choose to serve rather than to be served.

Yes Maram! Thanks once again. You really made me feel so rich.

Too Possessive in love is wrong...Part 2

I had written this title.. "Too Possessive in love is wrong" on 21 April 2011 before. I had many new readers who are captured by this interesting post constantly. Few asked for help. Perhaps I should have Part 2 today to talk a little more on this common problem facing most young lovers of today.

Hi Robert,

I dunno if it was accidental that i read this post now. My relation is in trouble and its bcoz of me. i was too much possessive on her. but gradually she made me realize that it was bad. i changed a bit. but whenever we get to spend less time, my possessive attitude comes out and because of that, i hurt her a lot.

i totally don't like this. i don't want to hurt her.
i want her to be happy always. so i am thinking of breaking up and letting her feel free.

is this decision of mine correct.

Hi Suman, Young lovers normally behave this way. It takes time before they learn. It's good that you should treat her like a friend first. Meanwhile both of you should give each other the freedom to mix freely with others. By experiencing and knowing more friends, you would understand yourself better. Just like you have to study many years in education before you could gain the degree. Right? So! Don't be disheartened. Go out, move on and see the world outside. If only you could smile again, would your sweetheart loves you again. Good luck to you. And thank you for reading my blog.

Little darling read the comments. She revealed her feeling and said...
yes sweet....it takes lot of experiences in life to know what actual love is....i am not saying that i am good but i know i have been through, experienced and understand what true love is all about.... it takes too much of pain, anxiety, hate, sacrifice,  sharing & etc to know it....But i am glad that today I am stronger, I know what I want.....I am experiencing this beautiful of love, enjoying and tasting too good from you my love....thank you baby for coming into my love and sharing your wonderful, fun and exciting love journey with me.....I love you 10wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......

Suman.. Do you know why little darling loves me so much? Loving a person is to trust her and give the best of myself to make her feel good all the time. Let her have all the freedom. The more you control her, the more she feels being possessed and that's when she feels miserable and upset.  Remember, love doesn't delight in evil but rather it rejoices with the truth. It always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

You like to add on please.....!!!!

Tattoos are forever....

Tesh is only 17 currently. Next year when she celebrates her 18 birthday, she intends to put on a great tattoo  on herself. At the moment, her parents are against her wishes. However she felt that when she turns 18, she would have her right to decide things for herself. Tattoo is always her fantasy and nobody might be able to change her thought. Her mother is concerned and is wondering how to stop her little sweetheart from doing such an act. To the child is an art but for the mother is shit. I really can't make any recommendation to both mother and daughter but I have found something interesting for both these ladies to see. Please see the below.

Civic minded drivers in Singapore.....

Have you driven a car in Kuala Lumpur? Driving in our city is madness. Most motorists have no manner, rude, unfriendly, arrogance and we hardly obey the traffic laws. So shy to tell you, this include myself too because I'm also from here. See below how we park our cars....

This is Bangsar, a very prime township and yet there is double parking all round the areas. Car owners are not the least be bothered that their cars are blocking others.
This black tiny one isn't scared too.
This double parking is so common, making traffic difficult to move most of the time. All of us have to bear this frustration, whether we like them or not!

Last two weeks during the holidays, I drove myself to Singapore, an island just five minutes away from our land. You know how they park their cars? See for yourself below....

They have special parking bays even for ladies. All their cars are by reverse parking, meaning ..  their back are always behind, allowing easy drive out when they return. I hardly could locate cars which were parked with their back facing the front. Only those from Malaysia, like me would do that. For sure there is no double  parking, no Singapore driver would obstruct unnecessary traffic because the penalties are very costly there.

Conclusion: Singaporeans are highly civil minded and that's why their Nation is so well disciplined, making their city the safest place to live. High time we have to improve too.
