AN average of 10 sex addicts sought treatment at the Raffles Hospital in Singapore each month, reported Sin Chew Daily.
A doctor also revealed to the newspaper that out of the 10 patients seeking treatment, two were women.
The daily also quoted an international survey showing that most sex addicts were likely to be married men who could not control their sexual desire.
It carried an interview with one Dr Munidasa Winslow who is a consultant psychiatrist at the Raffles Hospital.
According to her, some patients sought help because they could not stop masturbating.
My personal opinion.
Many people might not believe there are sex addicts out there. I do! There are four levels of sex drive in all human being. They are the low, middle low, middle high and the super high. If you have the experience in life, looking at another person face, you might be able to determine the level of sex drive in him or her. Is not bad or wrong if you are of the super high sex person, neither are you to be shameful if you happened to be the low key type. All of us are born differently.
I think those who have strong appetite on sex are usually the creative and intelligent people. They have extra energy and personal drive in them. They have the potential to make things happened. If they are taught and guided right, they normally end to be successful and famous.
I have a successful friend who built his wealth and fame all by himself. Though he was born poor, he was intelligence enough to complete his full education. With his creativeness and wittiness, he started a small business while he was still studying in the university. From a tiny little rented room where he conducted his business 35 years ago, today he owns industrial plants and factories. His endless energy and drive, turned him to be our local multi millionaire. I consider him to be a hypersexual person because he needs sex everyday since he was eighteen of age. According to him, without sex he would not be able to think and work for the day. The only time when he misses his session is when he falls sick. You might not believe too! He has four different women to play the role of lovers to this interesting man. Not only is he intelligence, he is smart because non of these four women know each other. Guess what? Our friend is already 55 and is still going strong. Is he a sex addict? Absolutely! You think you could follow him. Not easy! Unless you are a hypersexual type.

I like the information in your blog..i know that language is not a requirement in disseminating information and sharing ideas. grammar is not of importance at all but i guess to some extent we really need also to observe the rule of grammar for us to communicate well..hope this will not offend but rather would serve as constructive criticism.More power!
