A good guy try to encourage a bad guy to be good. Don't ever walk out of the shop without paying, he told the bad guy. Reluctantly he paid. However upon reaching home, that night the bad guy couldn't sleep. He felt stupid for paying when he could have cheated the shop. By playing the role of bad, he enjoyed the thrill for not paying. But the minute he tried to be honest, he lost all his confidence and fun.
Next... The bad guy asked the good guy to try once to act as bad. Walk into the shop, take whatever you like and disappear without paying, he told the good guy. Out of curiosity, the good fellow did what was told. With fear he attempted, and stole many things from the shop without paying. That night he could not sleep at all, he was trembling, worried and scared. By cheating, he lost his confidence, and felt so shameful and guilty of himself.
Moral of the story: A bad person cannot gain energy from trying to be good, and neither a good person can gain the rightful strength from trying to be bad. They both live in a different world. They survive by their own forces, the bad has to live with the negative and the good has to live with the positive instead. Whether you like it or not, that's the facts of life.
Food for thought - "There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big different. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative" - W Clement Stone quotes
