Mentoring is
most often defined as a professional relationship in which an experienced
person (the mentor) assists another (the mentoree) in
developing specific skills and knowledge that will enhance the
less experienced person’s professional and personal growth.
Julius has been my mentoree while he was still a student more than 20 years ago. Yesterday he called to seek my permission, allowing myself to be his son's mentor. His son is 17 years young, tall and handsome. The father is a fast learner and quick to apply what he has learned. To me, he is definitely an intelligent and a smart person. Though he is only 46 at age, his thought could be wiser and knowledgeable than me today. He speaks well and has super personality. He has a crafty character and plenty of witty humour. Where does he learns his skill? Simple! Through the past years, he has had gathered many mentors who had taught him much about life. And one of his mentor is the naughty Robert Foo. Now he is even smarter, he advises his son to be my mentoree while looking for more mentors elsewhere.
An old proverb - "A wise man learns by the mistakes of others, a fool by his own" - Latin Proverb

Hi Not Lonely,
The quickest way to be successful, is to learn from the successful one.
Yes! Robert Foo has been one of the most instrumental mentor throughout my life when I first knew him during college. And definitely he is the very first person that has left such an positive impression that I called him right after I graduated from college.
And I never stop communicating, and learning from him since then.
From all the wisdom that he has given to me, I believed I have and will impart to others that comes along my path. And I have never failed to let others know of Robert Foo!
Hi Julius,
Thank you for reading and commenting on this title. You really make my day.
