Life insurance agent has many roles to play.

What is a life insurance agent roles? To an ordinary layman, agent is basically salesperson who sells insurance products. To me life insurance agent is more than being a salesperson. He is a motivator, trainer, saviour, joker, entertainer, actor, marriage counsellor, match maker, broker, faith healer, preacher, doctor, teacher, financial advisor, banker, wealth builder, horoscope reader, business manager, public speaker, legal advisor and a god father to all his clients. If you have half the experiences of what had been mentioned above, you qualified to join this challenging career. Otherwise please forget this job because I don't think you would make it in the long run. Ah! Forgotten to mention... Make sure you have a patience ear to listen and a wise mind to understand what life is all about. Our career is most rewarding because we have a full range of love products which could solve all mankind needs.

Some types of life insurance have cash benefits available while you're living. In these types, a portion of your premium goes into a cash reserve and builds on a tax deferred basis. You can access this money, called cash value. Some people use it to help education costs, enhance retirement cash flow or for any reason. Two of the most common types of "permanent life insurance" are called whole Life Insurance and universal life insurance.

Yes a life insurance agent has to perform several roles. He is the only one that influences the person to make insurance policy and guides what will be best for a person. I do also like to buy insurance policy through an agent rather than buying it online.
