Love has pain.

I spoke with a most understanding intelligent lady who shared her love experiences with me. Had gone through one broken marriage and three unhappy relationships. The bad sufferings had almost torn her apart. Almost lost hope to search for a truthful man, when she finally out of the blue, came a white prince to shower her the love of magic again.

She wrote in poetry to describe how she looks at love. With her permission, I like to share this with all my appreciative readers.

Love....
To love is to suffer.
To avoid suffering one must not love.
But then one suffers from not loving.
Thus to love is to suffer & not to love is also to suffer.
To suffer is painful.
To be happy is to love.
To be happy then is to suffer.
And suffering makes one unhappy.
Thus to be unhappy, one must love.
Love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness.
Should I love or not to be loved!

My advice to her - "Call a friend or me when you are sad. There is no need to suffer alone."

An understanding and intelligent person will have the common sense to know that to love is NOT to suffer.

~Sharing is Caring ~

On Love,

What is generally called love can be harmful to the lover and the object of the love. If this is a result, the cause cannot be called love, but must be called ‘attachment’ in which the attached is incapable of any other conduct. Love not only has different intensities, but it also has different levels. If man thinks that love only signifies what he has so far felt, he will veil himself thereby from any experience of real love. If, however, he has actually felt real love, he will not make mistake of generalizing about it so as to identify it only with physical love or the love of attraction.
