Think before you speak.

Something interesting I learned from Nafiah. Most people speak with a flowing mind without thinking first but when you think first before speaking, you make no mistake in thoughts and words.

Ever since Nafiah has two wives, one is legal and the other yet to be, he realised he has to be careful in talking in his two different homes. What he had done and arranged for in one home, could not be revealed in the other. A slip of his tongue, might cause suspicious and blunder. He loves his two women and could not afford to break them apart. So each time at their houses, he has to remember what need to be spoken and not. He started to learn to think first before talking. The result is fantastic! After marrying for several years, both marriages are kept secret and happy in every sense. To 'think first and talk' also helps Nafiah to excel well in his successful business.

What about you? You speak without bothering to think or you think first before talking. Successful people always think first before speaking. Because they want to make sure they speak right and correctly, and most important not to offend their listeners. Furthermore learning to speak effectively and confidently is truly an art.

Something we can learn - "Before you speak, think -Is it necessary? Is it true? Is it kind? Will it hurt anyone? Will it improve on the silence?" - Sri Sathya Sai Baba quotes
