Certainties & Doubts

"If a man will begin with certainties, he shall end in doubts, but if he will be content to begin with doubts, he shall end in certainties".

A statement spoken by Sir Francis Baron 1561 -1626, almost 400 years ago.

Today's world with so much of hoha and fancy, plus plenty of commercial motivation, we may need some correction and adjustment of words.

"If a man will begin with confident, he shall end with success, but if he will be content to begin with a negative mind-set, he shall end with failures".

Whether the earlier or later is applicable, I think is up to the individual to apply. Personally, I still prefer to live with the traditional thought. Because I had also learned by another phrase,

"A teacher, teaches lesson first and then takes the exam. Life takes the exam first, and then teaches a lesson".

Hopefully I had not confused my readers. If so, you have two choices. Either you read slowly again to understand or write a comment on my blog and we would expand on these subjects.
